Top Candy & Snacks CompanyCase study

A top candy & snacks company turned 25 underperforming ASINs into a $1M projection.

Content optimization and image reordering, measured against a control group over six weeks, lifted conversion 6.8% and projected $1.04M in annual revenue.

Projected annual revenue lift across 25 ASINs

01

The challenge

A top CPG manufacturer in the candy and snacks categories worked with Vizit to find which ASINs were underperforming on Amazon.com due to low conversion rates. The platform identified 25 ASINs not delivering their revenue potential.

02

The action

Two optimization approaches were tested across the 25 ASINs: content optimization — swapping or editing individual images for higher-scoring assets — and image reordering, which moved top-performing images earlier in the sequence.

Net conversion improvement was measured by comparing the change in average weekly conversion rate before and after the optimizations between a test and control group of ASINs over six weeks.

03

The result

The measured ASINs achieved a 6.8% average conversion rate improvement and roughly $20K in average weekly revenue lift.

Extended across the 25 identified ASINs, that projects to a ~$1.04M annual revenue lift.

Two optimization levers, tested head-to-head.

Content optimization

Individual images were swapped or edited to use higher-scoring assets, upgrading the content itself.

Image reordering

Top-performing images moved earlier in the carousel sequence — a lift with zero new production.

Net of the market

Measuring against a control group over six weeks isolated the optimizations from seasonality and traffic shifts.
