Business Development Representative
Remote
(U.S. Remote - Eastern or Central time zone)
Overview:
Vizit is looking for a Business Development Representative to work closely with our Sales and Marketing teams to qualify leads, prospect opportunities, schedule qualified sales meetings, and help build sales pipeline that fuels business growth. To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience developing leads from marketing campaigns and cold calling to hit meeting and pipeline production goals. If you are motivated and results-driven, and enjoy working in a team-oriented environment, we’d like to meet you.
What you’ll do:
- Outbound prospecting, profiling and researching target accounts in assigned territories utilizing methods and tools such as LinkedIn, Salesforce, and others
- Work closely with Marketing team to effectively manage a flow of in-bound opportunities
- Qualify leads from marketing campaigns to help produce sales opportunities
- Arranging conference and online calls, product demos and face-to-face meetings to demonstrate solution benefits & capabilities to key decision makers
- Stay up-to-date with new Vizit products/services and sales messaging to properly position the value of our platform
- Regularly assess and report on your (weekly/monthly/quarterly) results
Who you are:
- Have 1 to 3 years work experience as a Business Development Representative in a software or technology company
- Hands-on experience with multiple sales prospecting techniques (including social selling and cold calling)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Track record of consistently achieving your goals
- Significant experience operating within CRM software (e.g. Salesforce)
- Aren’t afraid of measuring your performance and consistently striving for improvement
- Have a college degree
It’s ideal if you have:
- Previous experience working with SaaS tech solutions to brand manufacturers and retailers in eCommerce or digital marketing
- Understanding of, and contacts within, the FMCG, CPG, or Retail sector
