Overview:

We are seeking a talented Senior Python Engineer to join the Vizit Team.
In this role, you will be a member of our core enterprise SaaS team building and expanding Vizit’s first-of-its-kind visual intelligence platform and image analysis services that are already in use by some of the biggest brands in the world. You’ll have a leadership role in the development and growth of our API, the scalable and efficient data storage paradigms we’re developing, and will work closely with our UX Engineering and Design teams to deliver world class experiences to the customers of our platform.

‍Qualifications:

• Minimum 7 years of professional software engineering experience. Must have a current title of "Senior" or higher in a software engineering role.
• Expert in efficient, secure, scalable data architecture and best practices
• A proven track record of owning and maintaining complex software solutions and environments.
• Extensive experience speccing, designing and implementing software solutions to meet business needs and opportunities.
• Excellent communication skills are a must have. This person will work directly with other business units to refine project specifications.
• Knowledge of AWS tools and DevOps best practices.
• Experience designing and implementing applications on top of serverless infrastructure (AWS Lambda and SQS is a plus)
• Experience with Automated Deployments & CI/CD (CDK experience is a plus)
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment.
• Familiarity/experience with TDD.
• Basic understanding of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
• Experience with TypeScript a plus.
• Data analysis experience and exposure to ML and CV libraries, a plus (Tensorflow, Keras, Torch, OpenCV, etc.).
