Projected annual revenue lift for 7 ASINs

01

The challenge

A top household goods manufacturer worked with Vizit to find which ASINs were underperforming on Amazon.com for one of its home cleaning brands. Scoring the brand’s images revealed the ASINs suffering low conversion rates due to underperforming image scores.

02

The action

The brand’s hero images were redesigned with a more prominent feature callout on packaging and a shift from a disinfectant benefit to a scent benefit.

Carousel images were redesigned too, replacing usage and cleaning imagery with scent-focused visuals. Conversion changes were compared before and after between a test and control group of ASINs with similar glance views and conversion rates, over seven weeks.

03

The result

The 7 optimized ASINs achieved a 42.2% relative conversion rate improvement.

That translated to roughly $50K in average weekly revenue lift — a projected ~$2.6M annually.

Scent sells. The images had to show it.

A sharper hero

Feature callouts on packaging became more prominent, and the lead benefit shifted from disinfecting to scent.

A redesigned carousel

Usage and cleaning imagery was replaced with scent-focused visuals that scored higher with shoppers.

A controlled seven weeks

Results were measured against a control group with similar glance views and conversion rates, so the lift is attributable to the images.
